Our RECOAT blend is designed with herbs traditionally used to soothe and ease an annoying, irritated and scratchy throat. Whether dry or sore, this comforting tea can offer gentle natural support.
Slippery Elm Bark is a wonderful mucilaginous source, coating the throat and respiratory tract with a protective film, along with marshmallow root, which is calming to the throat by relieving the irritated mucous membranes.
This blend is also packed with soothing herbs we like to call triple A's - anti inflammatory, anti viral and anti bacteria,  like Licorice, Ginger and Cloves , used for easing tickling, irritation and mild pain. Coughs can be soothed and quietened.
Extra calming properties come from Sage, Peppermint and Chamomile to help relax the throat.
